Her eyes widen as that sinks in. No one remembers this place when they leave? Zelda has always known that she won't remember this place, if she returns to the draconified state she was in before landing in Somnius. Losing her memories was a price she already paid. But the idea that no one else gets to keep their memories is just... heartbreaking.

"Oh," she manages at last. "I didn't -- I didn't realise. I've not met anyone who left and came back, so..." She hadn't known. "I can see why it worries you. I wouldn't want anyone to forget the things they cherish."

No one else should have to suffer that.
