Luz would have expected nothing less. It was comforting: scary as this was, she wasn't alone.
Luz closed her eyes, and though it didn't hurt, she did feel like the air almost went out on her, and she gave a gasp and there it was.
Or wasn't. Luz looked down, drew her glyph and tapped it.

Luz was quiet for a moment, taking it in with a look of trepidation. It hurt. She knew it would. She'd just have to have time to recover, to lick the wound it made. But she would bear it.
If it managed to keep this place from severely hurting anyone, it had to happen.
