A pang of treacherous longing shoots through Reiner's chest. He tries to ignore it.
"No, you're not alone," he says, careful to keep his voice even. "Jean is here."
As well as others, but Jean is naturally the first that comes to mind. Jean—and not himself.
Reiner turns slightly, indicating with his head. "I can take you to him."
