wolves at the windmill

[James does not look like the sort of person who can take care of himself. He looks more than a little lost, and the fact that he's been wandering about the place aimlessly when it looks like the place is actively falling apart doesn't help. At least he seems aware of where he is in terms of space. It's not like he's drunk or high, just lost-looking.

He doesn't seem to be actively looking to harm himself so much as he's just sort of... stuck. Like he thinks maybe this whole place is very actively not real and he's trying to figure things out.

But he's not so out of it that he doesn't find anything weird about a giant wolf attacking what looks like one of its friends. He's wisely staying just out of reach of either, though he does have a nasty-looking pipe in one hand, likely to attack whichever of the wolves get too close.]
